Requesting Home Photo Removal from Trulia

Property photos may reach Trulia through a listing feed. Reducing exposure starts with the source of that listing and a clear request for any photos still visible.

For homes supplied by an MLS, Trulia directs changes to the listing agent rather than offering direct photo edits.

Step-by-Step Removal Guide

  1. Open your property page

Find the correct address on Trulia. Copy the page URL, identify the photos you want removed and check the listed data source or agent.

Open Trulia (opens in a new tab)
  2. Ask the listing agent to update MLS photos

For an MLS-fed listing, ask the agent to remove or update the sensitive images in the MLS. Trulia says those changes must be made at the source before appearing on its site.

Trulia’s data-change instructions (opens in a new tab)
  3. Send a request to Trulia support

For an off-market home, an unknown source or photos that remain, open the official request form. Select the role that applies to you and explain your photo-removal request.

Open Trulia’s support form (opens in a new tab)
  4. Include the details support needs

Provide the property link, its listing status and the specific photos, tours or floor plans involved. Ask what verification is necessary and whether another source needs updating.

  5. Check the public result

After the agent or support confirms changes, review the page while signed out. Follow up on the same request if the media is still accessible.
